Ben is learning so much each day - he is very interested right now in playing with his shape sorter. He actually gets a few right each time and is so happy when they go in!

It was finally warm enough to take Ben outside for a while so he could enjoy his new sled that he got for Christmas. After a little modifing (we had to put some weight in the front to keep him from falling off the back), he seemed to enjoy being pulled around the yard. He wasn't too successful walking in the snow - there were a few faceplants in the snow before we gave that up for the day - but he did like to be outside.

We have had rain for the past two days so most of the snow is gone. I am hoping it stays that way but have a feeling we may see more white stuff before Spring officially comes.

We went to Sesame Street Live - Elmo's Green Thumb today with our friends Jason and Jaime and their daughter Ashlyn. Ben and Ashlyn are a few months apart in age and like to get together for "dates". Surprisingly, Ben seemed to actually enjoy the performance and paid attention for a majority of it. There was a lot of dancing and singing and Ben loved to clap at the end of each song.

Bella likes nothing more than to have somebody throw one of her toys and let her bring it back over and over and over. Ben thinks this is extremely funny and would love to play with her all the time. He brings her toys and hopes that she finds one she likes so that she will chase him and try to take it away from him. He will laugh and laugh when she does this. He also has developed a fondness for her rubber chew toys and they will often share one of these back and forth before someone catches them and takes it away. I remember when we first brought Ben home and we were so anxious about germs and what he put in his mouth. I spent lots of time sterilizing everything...amazing how that changes in a year!!

Ben continues going to Kindermusik once a week. He is now in his 3rd semester and is loving it more and more each time. He seems to really respond to music and gets excited as soon as we walk in the room each Thursday. Ben has one more semester until he "graduates" to the next age-group level. We are excited to start Quinn in Kindermusik this fall!

Grandma and Grandpa got Ben a new wagon for his birthday. He quickly learned how to climb in and out and spent a lot of time doing just that! I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit so we can take him outside for a ride - thank goodness it has seatblets also!!

Chris took Ben outside with him to play ball with Bella. We put on his new snowpants, boots and everything else so that by the time we put him outside in the snow he just stood there pretty much unable to move. He tried touching the snow but quickly found his mitten frustrating that attempt!
