Daycare Field Trip to the Corn Maze

We made it!

Adam and Sabrina thought the corn was a little more interesting than Ben did...

Ben's daycare took a field trip to the corn maze by our house Friday morning. I went along to help push a stroller. As fun as the maze was for the adults, Ben found corn a bit boring and ended up falling asleep halfway through! It will be a great place to go back to when he is a bit older - so many fun things to do!

Standing Tall

Now that he has crawling down to an Olympic sport, Ben will try to stand anytime he gets the chance. He really loves the coffee table to the family room - it's the perfect height for him to cruise around and he can go from the couches to the table without letting go. The toilet is also a favorite along with the toilet paper roll right next to the toilet - Ben learned why they call it a roll the other day...

Grandpa's Harley

This is much cooler than any toy I have in the house!

Helmet's a little heavy Mom....

I love my Grandpa!

Ride to live, live to ride!

Grandpa came through town at the end of August on the return portion of his trip from Oregon to Milwaukee and back for the 105th Harley Birthday Celebration. Benjamin tried out Grandpa's Harley and helmet - he love anything he can "drive"!

The Cookie Monster

Mmmmm....cookie!

I love the cookie...

it's the best cookie...

I am in heaven with this cookie...

Is it bath time yet?

My mom sent me a cd with all the pictures she took during her visit to MN. She took over 200 pictures and since I was out of town most of the time I loved them all!

This is Benjamin enjoying one of his favorite "treats" - Gerber's Bitter Biscuits. We call them cookies and only give them to him on bath night - you can see why!

Ronni's Trip to Hawaii

I went to Hawaii with the University of Minnesota Volleyball team to play against Hawaii, Cincinnatti, and Wyoming. The team played well and lost in 5 to #11 Hawaii, beat Cincinnatti in 3 and Wyoming in 3. Overall they are now 6-1 after defeating #4 California last night at home. Although the Hawaii trip was all about volleyball, I did manage to get in a little sight-seeing. I visited Pearl Harbor and toured the USS Missouri on our off day.

Sarah & Tony's Wedding

It has been so long since I've posted and I feel awful about it. The volleyball season is in full swing and I try to spend every minute when I'm not at work with Ben and Chris so I just haven't had any free time to sit down and put some new pictures up. Thankfully my mom was able to spend a few weeks with us to help Chris while I was on the road in Omaha and Hawaii. Grandma was able to catch a few milestones as Ben is now an avid crawler, can be very vocal, and is starting to attempt to take a few steps while hanging onto the couch or coffee table. He now has 4 teeth and can bite! He loves to try and feed himself and feels that the more mess it makes, the better. My mom took over 200 pictures while she was here and I will post some of those when I get the CD from her. She is really becoming a good photographer - she took some amazing pictures of him that really capture my little bugger's budding personality.

The last pictures of Ben that I have on my camera are from our friend's Tony and Sarah's wedding that we attended in Siren, WI on August 23. That was the night that my mom arrived from Oregon and Ben stayed overnight with her in a Bed and Breakfast in Siren.
